Key Stage 2 Results 2017
On the 31st August 2017 the DfE published SFR 43/2017 – National curriculum assessments at Key Stage 2.
The statistical release contained the following Key Stage 2 provisional national figures:

As can be seen in the table above national proportions and scaled scores increased in 2017, some quite significantly. This has had a knock-on effect on the VA model and some schools may be surprised by their VA scores if they have relied on calculations based on the 2016 model.
The SFR contains very little on groups other than by gender.
