School Coaching and Professional Growth

An online tool that supports a coaching style approach to performance management and allows staff to take control of their own professional growth.

Teacher coaching is gaining popularity in UK schools, with more and more schools choosing to switch from a more stuctured performance management process to an approach that allows more autonomy and encourages staff to take control of their own professional development.

Our online system can support you with your coaching journey by providing the space and structure required for setting goals and tracking the conversations required to ensure they have impact.

However your coach and coachee interact, whether it’s coaching observations, informal check-ins, more structured reviews or a mix of those, you can create your own ‘meeting’ types to reflect this. Meeting types can be templated with guidance and questions for both parties to consider and both coach and coachee can have space to record their thoughts or feedback.

Rather than a line-management style set up, Lessons Learned allows you to pair staff in coach-coachee partnerships, with SLT granted an overview of all goals/targets set.

Free CPD Module

Every purchase of our Coaching Module comes with free access to our CPD Module, which can be used to track training and link this back to coaching goals.

Slide Coaching documents feature space for goals/targets and your own customisable type of meeting - on this example we've renamed 'meeting' to 'check-in' and we have 4 types - coach check-in, coaching session and spring review and summer review. Slide Keep track of the meetings you've held with your coachee on our meeting tracking screen - see the number of meetings held of each type and when they were. Any compulsory meetings will cause the progress bar to fill up under each staff member's name as those meetings are held. In this example, only our spring and summer reviews are compulsory. Slide Create your own meeting types based on the practice you already follow in school - whether that's coaching by observation, professional conversations or otherwise. Meeting types can be templated with guidance and questions for coach and coachee to consider when having their meetings, ensuring a common vernacular across the school.
